Every hair type is unique. Your curls are too! This is why you must not compare your hair’s outlook, length and of course, care tips with any other hair type’s. Here are 5 tips you need to know, if you’re a curly queen.
Excessive shampooing:
If you’ve noticed your curly hair tends to become dry easily and that’s why you don’t have to wash your curly hair every day, as it can suck out all the natural oils and moisture. You should also look for moisturizing ingredients in your conditioner. Your hair cuticle is sealed and protected against environmental damage when you moisturize.
Curly Hair Sleep Routine
Pineappling has arguably been the best trick for a curly Queen’s sleep hair routine. When you pineapple, you pile all your hair on top of your head into a bun or a loose ponytail. Doing this, there is less friction between your hair and the pillowcase. And yes, the 002. rule: Silk pillowcases or bonnets!! Cotton pillowcases aid friction between your hair and strands, if your hair isn’t packed in a silk bonnet.
Moisture Retainment:
Do not do heat styling often as it can strip off the moisture from your curls.
The high temperature from heat styling tools can remove the natural texture of your curls, making them dull and lifeless. Limit the use of heat styling and use a good heat protectant spray whenever you can’t avoid it. Use moderate heat and a diffuser to protect your naturally beautiful curls

Styling for Curls:
Going really calm with your curls is always the way forward. Try using wide-toothed combs to remove the tangles in your curly hair. If they are knots, comb from bottom to up to remove them. Get very skeptical with hair brushes as they can damage your unique hair texture. Your curls are unique! Opt out for classic styles that won’t ruin them too.
